Local Stories on Paul Byrd Trying to Put Off Field Stuff Behind Him

Yesterday seemed to be the day to go and do all the Paul Byrd stories, as most of the local papers here in Northeast Ohio wrote on Byrd, and as you can see below we have some audio provided by the Tribe of the Byrd interview up. Both Hoynsie and Sheldon Ocker of the ABJ wrote on Byrd, basically saying he’s trying to put what he went through at the end of last season behind him and he’s looking to move on. Of course nothing has been decided if he will be suspended or not, so that will be somewhat of a distraction until a final decision is made. Here are the two local links for Byrd’s stories:

Does Borowski have another big year in him?

As pitcher and catchers get set to report to Winter Haven, PD’s Paul Hoynes has out his “Top 10 Questions” that face the Indians this season.  The biggest three questions have to do with Travis Hafner and if he can rebound (I am saying he will), the C.C. contract issue (can you say “good-bye”?), and the closer role.  Good stuff as always from Hoynise, so take a few moments and check it out:
