Indians Set 2009 Opening Day Roster
The Cleveland Indians today set their opening day roster for the start of the 2009 Championship Season.
The roster contains twelve (12) pitchers, two (2) catchers, seven (7) infielders and four (4) outfielders. There are two Indians currently on the disabled list (OF David Dellucci, RHP Jake Westbrook). The current roster contains two rookies (Trevor Crowe/Scott Lewis) and five players making their debuts on a Major League opening day roster (Z. Jackson, S. Lewis, Choo, Crowe, Francisco).
