Indians and Browns to Have Charity Bowling Outing Wednesday
CLEVELAND, OH — Members of the Cleveland Indians front office staff will battle members of the Cleveland Browns staff in the 2008 “CLEVELAND SPORTS BOWL”, a fundraiser to benefit the “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” program for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Cleveland.
With the Indians leading the series at 3-2, this playful rivalry will take place on Wednesday, May 7 from 5:30PM-8:00PM at The Corner Alley (located at 402 Euclid Ave, just minutes from Progressive Field). The Cleveland Sports Bowl between the Browns and Indians began in 2003.
This annual event between the front offices of the Indians and Browns was established to help raise funds and awareness for the “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” program each year. All proceeds from the fundraiser provide guidance and support to children here in Northeast Ohio through the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program.
