Indians-Royals Rained Out; No Makeup Date Announced
Rain, rain go away. Well, at least we can try. Tonight’s Indians-Royals opener at Progressive Field was called due to ongoing rain that hit Northeast Ohio pretty much throughout the night. The Tribe put game six of the Cavs-Wizards on the jumbotron during the delay, which was a nice move considering they were giving love to the boys next door. Anyway, they have yet to announce a makeup date, and as far as the pitching matchups, they moved CC vs Luke Hochevar to tomorrow night. As far as the fireworks that were supposed to be tonight, they were pushed back to next Saturday vs the Blue Jays, which is a nice game to go to as well since it’s Grady Sizemore fleece blanket night.
