Final Starter Spot Wrapped Up as Sowers and Laffey Sent to Buffalo
The 5th and final spot in the rotation was basically set in stone today, as the team has sent both pitchers Jeremy Sowers and Aaron Laffey to AAA Buffalo. The Cleveland Indians today announced the club has optioned LHP JEREMY SOWERS & LHP AARON LAFFEY to AAA Buffalo.
The Indians spring training Major League roster is now at 29 players and 6 non-roster invitees. Also, LHP CRAIG BRESLOW & RHP BRENDAN DONNELLY reported to camp today. The Indians take on the Atlanta Braves today at 1:05 PM ET with Jake Westbrook on the mound.
