Pitchers Slocum and Sipp Sent to AAA Buffalo
Following getting hurt after just a few pitches on Wednesday, the Tribe on Thursday shipped pitcher Brian Slocum to Buffalo. Left-handed pitcher Tony Sipp was also sent to AAA, as he is coming off Tommy John elbow surgery and won’t be ready to pitch in any games till last June or early July. Slocum has a mild strain of the right groin that took place when he started Wednesday’s game vs the Braves.
