Former Tribesman Lofton Getting Looks From the Reds
No one ever believed for a second that long-time Indians fan favorite Kenny Lofton would be back with the team in 2008, but that doesn’t stop people from wondering what’s up with K-Love. Well, FoxSports.com is reporting that Lofton is close to inking a deal with the Reds to possibly challenge to play centerfield.
Lofton last season helped the Tribe down the stretch and in the playoffs when they got him from the awful Texas Rangers. In 136 games last season Kenny hit .296 with 23 steals, and was a spark plug for the Tribe in the playoffs vs the Yanks and Red Sox. The link to the article on Lofton is below.
